However, Perronne considers his new novel, Embrace the Rain, which explores post-Hurricane Katrina life in a small coastal Mississippi town to be his most personal work yet.

Instead, he's written a book about it. And "A Place Like This" has as much to say about the gay community as it does about one gay man trying to find pride among the ruins.

ACADEMY AWARD NOMINEE PENS SONG FOR FEATURE "HORROR IN THE WIND"
April 20, 2008- Revision Studios announced today that two time Academy Award nominee, David Zippel, and Emmy Award winner Marc Chait, have created the closing song for its new feature length comedy, "Horror In The Wind." Written and directed by Max Mitchell, "Horror In The Wind" is a comedy about two biogeneticists who invent an airborne formula that reverses the whole world's sexual orientation. It will be released next month.
