Lesbian Comedy Wins Berlin Gay Prize
A comedy starring Julianne Moore and Annette Bening as a lesbian couple whose kids seek out their sperm donor won the Teddy prize at the Berlin Film Festival.
Awarded ahead of the festival's Golden Bear prize for best picture Saturday night, the Teddy Bear went to The Kids Are All Right, chosen by a jury of eight organisers of gay and lesbian film events around the world.
'The Teddy for the Best Feature Film goes to Lisa Cholodenko's The Kids Are All Right for being a well-crafted and humorous take on the issues facing contemporary lesbian parents and the complexity of sexuality, relationships and family bonding,' the jury said in a statement.

Last year, in these very pages, we lamented the fact that "The Boys in the Band," a watershed moment in gay cinema, had yet to show up on DVD nearly 40 years after its release. Mart Crowley, author of the original play, said people pestered him about it, too.

Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild
Previously on Another Gay Movie, Todd Stephens's racist and pandering but almost canny response to American Pie, Nico thankfully lost his shit before almost getting it from Richard Hatch; Superman-ish Jarod gave in to Griff's big nerd cock; and Andy sacrificed his ass cherry to two dicks at once. Flash-forward to the equally desperate Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild, which begins with a nightmare that doesn't let up even after Nico (Jonah Blechman) wakes up.

New Lesbian Detective Show
Being Considered By Networks
When the L-Word debuted in 2004, networks were astounded that the new television series did so well at capturing a diverse television audience in addition to its anticipated gay following.
