Ford Sponsors Seattle Gay Pride Parade
American Family Association Boycotts Ford Again

In a newsletter email we've obtained today, the American Family Association is boycotting Ford Motor Company again, in it's efforts to stop Ford in supporting gay events. The letter is below.

Ford sponsors Seattle gay pride parade

Dear Kenneth,

Having just sponsored the Gay Pride Festival in Cleveland, Ohio, Ford Motor Company followed up by sponsoring the Seattle Gay Pride Parade held June 24 in the city's downtown.

To the right is a picture from the parade, which was linked from the SeattlePride.org Web site. The picture shows a "marriage" float with two men, dressed in tuxedos, standing atop a wedding cake. Ford felt a float pushing same-sex marriage was worthy of their financial support.

On June 7, AFA asked Chairman Bill Ford for a meeting to discuss their support of this lifestyle. Chairman Ford has not responded.
