The Human Rights Campaign, the nation’s largest gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender civil rights organization, issued the following statement today with regard to the Arizona Governor’s Regulatory Review Council unanimously voting to provide domestic partner benefits to unmarried state employees. The extension of benefits is scheduled to become effective in October 2008.
