A national push to force schools to take a stand against homosexuality has reached the Gilbert Public Schools.

A conservative coalition, Mission: America, launched the campaign before the April 25 Day of Silence, where gay and lesbian students and their supporter raise awareness of harassment and bullying by refusing to speak throughout the school day, or at least during breaks and outside of class.
