Gay City Official Runs for Mayor

Ferndale, MI -- a city known for its acceptance of diversity, especially in the gay and lesbian community -- has never had an openly gay mayor.

City Councilman Craig Covey is hoping to become the first. "I've been thinking about this for about two years," said Covey, 50.
